I manage over a dozen events per semester, including speaker events, career panels, socials, mentorship programs, local outreach, the Cornell Physics Wiki, and an annual poster session. I organize the initiatives of the organization, promoting professional development and community through events like grad school panels, career exploration panels, alumni presentations, grad school application workshops, and physics skill workshops.

Leader and Host

Organization: AEPxPhysics Formal Committee, Cornell Society of Physics Students and Cornell Applied Engineering Physics Society
Term: Aug 2025 - Present

Every year, I form a committee made up of executive members from all of Cornell’s physics organizations. I oversee the committee, and book all major venues and vendors for the event. I also handle all of the advertising, and I am responsible for approving the budget alongside our treasurers.

A Physicist Is... Profile Writer and Interviewer

Organization: Cornell University, Department of Physics
Term: Jan 2025 - Present

I work with faculty in the Cornell Physics Department to find alumni in varying fields to feature for the 'A Physicist Is...' Spotlight project. I conduct 30 minute online interviews with three alumni per semester and write a short profile on their career trajectory to be displayed on posters around the department and on the department website.

Assistant Music Director

I arrange multiple pieces for performance and lead rehearsals each week for a 15-member group. I assist our main music director with leading warm-ups, teaching music, and giving performance feedback.

Choreography Chair

I design choreography for every song in our set-list alongside my co-choreographer, and I lead all dancing-focused rehearsals. I film every practice run of the show and write individualized notes for every member to improve their performance.

I worked closely with the President to manage our other E-Board members and plan events for our general membership. I organize the peer and grad mentorship programs offered by SPS and I maintain consistent contact with the Physics Graduate Society. I plan three professor Q&A sessions for our members each semester and I host an end-of-semester departmental movie night at the end of spring each year.

I worked closely with the WiP+ organization on campus to plan inclusive events for the women in our field. I organize socials and informational sessions, and maintain contact with the management for WiP+. I also assisted with bi-weekly WiP+ coffee hour.
